What are services

What you offer to your customers

Services represent the activities, treatments, or offerings your business provides. Each service can have its own duration, price, required resources, and availability.

For example, if you run a physiotherapy clinic, your services might be: “General Physiotherapy”, “Sports Massage”, “Post-Surgery Rehabilitation”. If you have a hair salon: “Haircut”, “Hair coloring”, “Event styling”.

Services are only available in Advanced mode for reservations. If your agent is in Basic mode, you don’t need to set up services. You can switch to Advanced mode in your agent’s settings.

What services are used for

Organization

They separate the different activities of your business so each one has its own configuration. Your customers can choose exactly what they need when booking.

Custom duration

Each service can last a different amount of time. You can define a fixed duration, let the customer choose within a range, or make it depend on the assigned resource.

Pricing

Assign a price to each service so your customers know the cost before booking, and to keep track of your statistics.

Required resources

Specify which resources (professionals, rooms, equipment) each service needs. Aura will check that they’re available before accepting a booking.

Where they’re managed

Services are managed from the Services section in your agent’s side menu. There you’ll see a table with all your services, their duration, assigned resources, and status (active or inactive).

What information each service includes

Each service contains:

  • Name and description: To identify the service and explain what it involves.
  • Color: A color that will appear on the calendar to visually identify bookings for this service.
  • Status: Active or inactive. Inactive services don’t appear as an option when booking.
  • Duration: How long the service takes.
  • Price: How much the service costs (optional).
  • Required resources: Which people, rooms, or equipment are needed to deliver the service.
  • Availability: When the service is offered.
  • Custom fields: Additional information requested from the customer when booking.
