Steps to connect Gmail

Go to Integrations

From the side menu in your dashboard, navigate to the Integrations section.

Select Gmail

Find the Gmail card in the list of available integrations and click on it.

Authorize with your Google account

A Google window will open where you need to sign in and grant Aura permission to read and send emails on your behalf.

Verify the status

Go back to the Integrations section and check that the Gmail status shows as Active.

After connecting

Once connected, the emails you receive will appear as conversations in the Messages section. Your agent can automatically reply to emails based on the instructions and knowledge base you have set up.

Emails are managed the same way as messages from other channels. You can enable or disable the agent’s automatic replies for each individual conversation.

If Gmail is your main point of contact with customers, connecting this channel lets you automate replies to common inquiries and free up time for more important tasks.
