Space based on your plan

The amount of storage available for the knowledge base depends on your subscription plan. Each plan includes a maximum storage limit that is shared across all agents on your account.

In the knowledge base section you can see at any time:

  • Used: how much space you’re currently using
  • Remaining: how much free space you have left

Storage alerts

Aura notifies you when your storage is running low:

You’re running low on available space. You can still add content, but it’s a good idea to free up space or consider upgrading your plan.

Storage is almost full. You won’t be able to add more files until you free up space or upgrade your plan.

You’ve reached the limit. You can’t add more content until you delete existing content or upgrade your subscription plan.

When storage runs out, you won’t be able to upload new files, text, or web links. Your agent will keep working with the content it already has, but you won’t be able to expand its knowledge base until you free up space.

How to free up space

If you need more space, you have two options:

  1. Delete existing content: review the content table and remove items that are no longer needed or outdated. The space is freed immediately.

  2. Upgrade your plan: if you need more storage capacity, you can switch to a higher plan from Profile > Plans. Higher plans include more space for the knowledge base.

Review your knowledge base periodically and remove outdated content. This not only frees up space but also prevents the agent from using outdated information in its responses.
