Connect Instagram

Prerequisites

To connect Instagram, you need an Instagram account linked to a Facebook page. Personal accounts that are not linked are not supported. If your account is not linked, you can do so from Instagram settings.

Steps to connect Instagram

Go to Integrations

From the side menu in your dashboard, navigate to the Integrations section.

Select Instagram

Find the Instagram card in the list of available integrations and click on it.

Authorize the connection

Follow the on-screen instructions to authorize Aura. You will be asked to sign in with your Instagram or Facebook account and grant the necessary permissions.

Verify the status

Go back to the Integrations section and check that the Instagram status shows as Active.

After connecting

Once connected, your agent will start automatically replying to direct messages (DMs) you receive on Instagram. All conversations appear in the Messages section alongside those from your other connected channels.

If your business receives a lot of inquiries through Instagram, connecting this channel lets you automate replies without missing any conversation.
