Google Calendar
Why connect Google Calendar
By connecting Google Calendar with Aura, the reservations your agent manages are automatically synced with your Google calendar. This lets you see all your appointments from the calendar you already use, avoiding duplicates or scheduling conflicts.
Connect Google Calendar
Sync mode
Choose how you want reservations to sync between Aura and Google Calendar:
Bidirectional
Reservations are sent and received in both directions. If you create an event in Google Calendar, it appears in Aura, and vice versa.
Pull (receive only)
Aura only receives data from Google Calendar. Reservations created in Google are imported into Aura, but reservations created in Aura are not sent to Google.
Push (send only)
Aura only sends data to Google Calendar. Reservations created in Aura appear in Google, but events created directly in Google are not imported into Aura.
Sync frequency
Set how often data is automatically synced:
- Manual: only syncs when you request it
- Every 5 minutes: near real-time syncing
- Every 15 minutes
- Every 30 minutes
- Every hour
- Every 6 hours
- Every 24 hours: daily sync
Calendar ID
By default, the integration uses your main Google calendar. If you want to sync with a different calendar, you can specify the Calendar ID in the provider settings.
Test the connection
After configuring the integration, click Test connection to verify everything is working correctly. If the test succeeds, you’ll see a confirmation message. If there’s a problem, the system will tell you what went wrong so you can fix it.
Use bidirectional sync if you want your Google Calendar and Aura to always stay aligned. If you only need to see Aura reservations in Google, Push mode is sufficient.
