Create your first agent
Your first virtual assistant
To start using the platform you need at least one agent. An agent is your virtual assistant: it manages calls, messages, schedules, and services for your business.
The first time you log in to Aura, the creation wizard will open automatically. Just follow three steps.
Select your business industry
Choose the industry that best describes your business. This helps Aura configure itself more appropriately for your type of activity.
The available options are:
- Healthcare: Clinics, medical practices, hospitals.
- Hospitality: Hotels, restaurants, bars.
- Beauty and wellness: Hair salons, spas, gyms.
- Retail: Shops and stores.
- Professional services: Law firms, advisory firms, consultancies.
- Other: If your business doesn’t fit into any of the above.
Choose the use case
Indicate what you want to use the agent for. You can choose from:
- Appointments and reservations: Manage customer bookings and appointments.
- Customer service: Answer inquiries and resolve questions.
- Sales inquiries: Assist potential customers interested in your services.
- Support: Provide technical assistance or resolve issues.
- Information: Share general information about your business.
- Other: For any use case not listed above.
Fill in the agent details
Enter the basic details for your agent:
- Agent name: The name your assistant will go by (for example, your business name or a name that makes sense to you).
- Phone number: Your business phone number. It will be used for calls and to verify your identity.
- Objective: A brief description of what you want your agent to do. For example: “Collect customer details and answer their questions” or “Manage table reservations for the restaurant.”
When you’re ready, click Create agent.
You can change all of these options later in the Agent Settings section. You don’t need to get everything perfect right now.
What’s next
After creating your agent, you will land on the Dashboard. From there you can:
- Complete the essential configurations (verify your phone, choose a plan, set up your schedule).
- Connect your communication channels (WhatsApp, Instagram, Gmail).
- Start receiving calls and messages automatically.
Check the First configurations guide to find out what to do next.
